We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation. Our purpose is not only to preserve and restore the unique architectural style of Shreveport’s charming Fairfield Historic District, but to encourage economic and developmental growth with an emphasis on beautification and revitalization projects. The Fairfield Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its cultural impact and contribution to regional history. The district is roughly 1206 acres and contains over 250 homes on Fairfield Avenue and adjacent streets.
If you believe that the Fairfield Historic District is worthy of preservation for future generations, then please join the FHDA or volunteer for us!
